The Irregular Warfare Center hosts the Irregular Warfare Medical Resiliency Working Group (MRWG), an initiative assessing medical resiliency in IW. This working group focuses on medical operations in austere, contested, and denied environments with the goal of fostering collaboration from across the Department of Defense, the U.S. interagency, partner and ally nations, nonprofits and nongovernmental organizations, the private sector and industry, and academia.

Two working group conferences were held in 2023. The first was in February 2023, followed by a medical resiliency wargame in August 2023. The IWC has held one working group conference so far in 2024. A report for each conference is available for limited distribution.
