Irregular Warfare’s Impact on Homeland Defense Scholars Colloquium

Irregular Warfare’s Impact on Homeland Defense Scholars Colloquium

The Irregular Warfare Center (IWC) will hold its annual Scholars Colloquium September 01-02 in the Washington, DC area. This selective event will bring together a cohort of early to mid-career researchers to present their work on irregular warfare and engage directly with senior scholars and practitioners.

The fourth colloquium will focus on “Irregular Warfare’s Impact on Homeland Defense.” Selected participants will be organized into small groups based on shared research interests and complementary expertise. Each scholar will present a summary of their research to serve as a springboard for peer feedback and collaborative discussion.

While the deadline for participant submissions has passed, the Center is now looking for senior scholars to attend the colloquium as audience members. Senior scholars will have the opportunity to mentor selected researchers on their work and provide guidance on how to shape research to impact the national security community.
